Cosmos Joins the Mastercard Crypto Partner Program

Cosmos has joined Mastercard's new Crypto Partner Program, a global initiative bringing together more than 85 companies across digital assets and payments to collaborate on products connecting on-chain infrastructure to Mastercard's payment rails.

The program focuses on use cases where digital assets are seeing growing institutional adoption: cross-border transfers, B2B payments, and settlement. Participants will work with Mastercard's product teams to build solutions that bridge digital asset infrastructure and a network reaching over 3 billion cardholders in 210 countries.

Cosmos is one of the infrastructure providers in the group, alongside companies like Binance, Circle, PayPal, Ripple, Polygon, and Solana. Cosmos contributes the underlying ledger technology: a production-proven stack powering 200+ independent blockchains, with sub-second finality, native cross-chain connectivity via IBC, and the configurability that institutions need to maintain control over governance, compliance, and data.
